We were in town to move my daughter into UTD on Tuesday and was looking for an Italian fix so we picked this place.
Our server was a little sweet Latina girl and she did a fantastic job! From start to finish she was on point. I just wish I remembered her name to give her proper credit.
We ordered a pesto pasta dish, the classic chicken Alfredo and the Gianni. All were great! I was so pleasantly pleased at the taste and quality of our food. We've dined at sooo many Italian restaurants only to be disappointed by some aspect of the dining experience. This placed delivered and we will be going back when I'm in town to visit my daughter. Thank you. -

Pros:
Food is amazing
Large portions
Great Ambiance
Fair prices
The packaging of to go orders is flawless
Cons:
Service is average
Workers are kind of cold with you
I love it here but I really don't like the service. The two times that I ate here we got the same server. He was very dry and bland. He never once smiled. Kind of seemed like he didn't want to be there and didn't care about helping us. I saw other servers who were being more pleasant with the customers so I hope this isn't a regular occurrence. Either way I was scarred by having the same lack luster server both times we went. Now we only get carryout from here which has never let us down. -

Absolutely the best Italian place we've ever visited and we've lived in PA, CA and TX. The kids call this place "our favorite Italian place". They are smart kids, it absolutely is. We've eaten there during the week and on weekends and ordered take out for movie night at home. No matter how or when we've ordered, it did NOT disappoint. Even the little side salad that comes with your meal is DELICIOUS (that dressing!!!!)! The servers are very attentive, the food is fresh, the atmosphere is cozy and warm.
Anyway, coming from a very particular (picky) restaurant eater, I don't give 5 stars often. This place deserves it. When my husband lost his job and two weeks later totaled his car....we had dinner here...because, why not? Comfort food on steroids just like Grandma made. Except, I'm Norwegian. But if I was Italian it'd be just like Grandma's. Probably. -

I've been here before awhile back and I just so happen to be invited to my friend's birthday here for dinner. Food is great like I remember. The atmosphere is nice too. Decor is pretty awesome; old paintings and historic photos with some dim lighting for romance too. Great place for small or large parties. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and my friends ordered pesto Alfredo chicken with their choice of pasta, shrimp pasta with white sauce and also got dessert; Oreo cookie cheesecake and Napoleon ice cream and pistachio ice cream mix. Everything was so good. Will be back. Till then, let's eat!

Came out here for a date night and I love the romantic-dimly lit vibes when you walk in deeper into the restaurant. There are twinkly lights above you and red candles to set the mood here.
My boyfriend and I came out here for our 1-month anniversary dinner (got to celebrate the small moments too right?)! We were met with a friendly and patient waiter. He was really nice about giving us recommendations. We got the calamari as our appetizer. Highly recommend! It's really well breaded and came out warm.
For our entree, we got the Sausage Bolognese with fettuccine pasta. I would give this a 8/10. Satisfied us, but I don't feel like the pasta was exceptional. The meat sauce was great though!
For dessert, we got the Spumoni. Which is like Neapolitan ice cream except the flavors are cherry, pistachio (liked this the best), and chocolate. The portion size is a little lacking though. Even for a small.
I would come out here again just to enjoy the atmosphere!
